On August 6 and 9, 1945, two cities were obliterated, and more than ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฌ,๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ผ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฑโmost of them civilians. In mere seconds, entire communities vanished, and to this day survivors endure the long-term effects of radiation, illness, and trauma.




As ICAN (International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons) reminds us, the hibakushaโthe survivorsโhave consistently declared: โ๐ก๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป.โ Yet nuclear weapons remain a threat, especially in Asia where U.S. military presence and imperialist strategies continue to endanger peace and stability.
The shadow of nuclear weapons and U.S. military presence still looms large over Asia. With bases spread across Japan, South Korea, Australia, the Philippines, and Thailand, the threat of imperialist intervention persists.
For the Party of the Laboring Masses, ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ต๐ถ๐บ๐ฎ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ก๐ฎ๐ด๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ป๐ผ๐ ๐ท๐๐๐ ๐บ๐ฒ๐บ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐๐ but warnings for the present that ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ป๐๐ฐ๐น๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ป๐ ๐ถ๐ ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ท๐๐๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐บ๐๐๐ ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฏ๐ฒ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ. True peace is built on social justice and human dignity, not on intimidation or military might.
